Abstract submission is now closed.

To submit your abstract please download the template provided below. After you complete the form please send it to cim-2015@bristol.ac.uk as an email attachment with subject line "Abstract submission for an oral presentation" or "Abstract submission for a poster presentation".

Abstract submission form.

The UK-CIM steering group is the programme committee and will decide which abstracts should receive an invite for an oral presentation, with the remaining submissions invited to present a poster.

We will contact you around the end of February/early March 2015 to inform you whether or not your abstract has been accepted for oral presentation.

Criteria for reviewing:
All abstracts are blinded (all author information removed), and will be reviewed by 4 members of the steering group.

Reviewers are asked to take into consideration:

  • Relevance and usefulness: Does the abstract align with the UK-CIM theme?
  • Scientific merit: Is the research question an important one? Does it primarily contain methodology as opposed to an application?
  • Originality and innovation: does the abstract contain novel methodology or an application likely to inform methodology?
